Filipino-American Association of Greater Wichita
Is a non-profit organization established to maintain, foster, and strengthen the Philippine culture, values, and heritage between our fellow Filipinos, Americans, and the rest of the general public through cultural, charitable, and educational activities.

Charity
The FAAGW holds many events for fund-raising, as well as participates in year-round activities which benefit charities here in the US and in the Philippines.
Culture
The FAAGW exposes its members and the public to the Filipino culture through participation in cultural events in the area and through its many activities which serve as the medium for experiencing the Filipino family. It has had an active involvement with the Wichita Asian Association for 35 years. It Likha Performing Arts presents cultural dances in various local events like anniversaries, cultural heritage month, Asian Wellness Day, Asian Festival, Barrio Fiesta, Christmas Party, Sinulog Festival in Omaha, Nebraska, and other similar events that we are invited to perform.
Education
The FAAGW seeks to enhance the educational achievements of its members through a scholarship program. The FAAGW’s future plans include the establishment of organized classes, seminars, and workshops that will provide members and the public with a deeper understanding of the Philippines through its language, history, geography, and culture.

MISS PHILIPPINES & MISS PEOPLE'S CHOICE WICHITA ASIAN FESTIVAL 2022
Trinity Rouse
Miss Philippines is the local representative of the Filipino and Asian communities.
She competed in the 2022 Annual Wichita Asian Festival Pageant and demonstrated her talented skills in a private interview, cultural posterboard, on-stage poise & personality, and talent competitions.
Rouse is 17 years old, a junior at Kapaun Mount Carmel Catholic High School, in the Cum Laude program, National Honor Society, Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica, Business Manager of the KMC Journalism Department, a model for M&I Models and MMG Model & Talent Management, and spends time serving the community. She aims to champion a platform for educating the community about the diversity and uniqueness of the Philippines.

Each committee shall have 2 chairpersons and at least three (3) members to serve on the committee.
Section 1: Program Committee.
The program committee is composed of the Vice-President as chairperson and three other members, whose duty shall be to plan the overall program of the association.
